Most puppies (2-6 months old) can begin Basic Obedience training with little to no issues. However, some older dogs may have already developed bad behaviors or lack structure, resulting in reactivity, anxiety, or fear.

Socialisation sessions can assist with these issues. Typically, a combination of approaches is recommended. Starting your dog's training early is highly recommended. Puppies as young as 8 weeks/2 months old can begin basic training and socialisation, setting a solid foundation for good behavior and preventing the development of bad habits.

We recommend a once a week session to keep the momentum up and in between, you will need to practice everyday for 5-10 minutes at a time at home and outdoors.

No, we discourage sending your yaya in your behalf. They may join the sessions but the primary caretaker and owner (you) is required in every session. Your dog relies on you for direction and leadership.

During training sessions, we use chicken. If your dog has a chicken allergy, we recommend that you bring their favorite treat during the session.

If your dog's needs other than food and water are not met (they need physical and mental stimulation as well as structure and leadership, too!), they can show some signs of discomfort, fear, boredom and even aggression. 

Effective dog training is not about the number of tricks your dog learns in a given time. It's really about the owners

learning to establish boundaries with their dog, which can prevent unwanted behaviors like chewing, jumping on people, excessive barking, or aggression.
