Balanced Positive Reinforcement Method for calm, confident, happy dogs.
Positive reinforcement training uses a reward (treats, praise, toys, anything the dog finds rewarding) for desired behaviors. Because the reward makes them more likely to repeat the behavior, positive reinforcement is one of the most powerful tools for shaping or influencing dog's behavior.
This method is enjoyable, stress free and powerful in creating that strong bond between you and your dog with a much higher rate of success.

Understanding Your Dog
Regardless of breed, all dogs can be trained to be wonderful companions. Each
'fur-baby' has its own unique personality. While the breed might explain some of your dog's natural tendencies, its personality is largely shaped by various factors, including you and the immediate environment.
Discovering what brings joy to your dog's life is crucial for a fulfilling experience together. Whether your pup loves to run, meet new people, keep watch, or explore, we'll figure it out together!
With training, we can become experts at recognising whether our pup is feeling excited, unsure, afraid, or uncomfortable, and we'll adjust both the environment and our behavior to ensure a harmonious and loving relationship.

We train you and your dog together. This is crucial to ensure a higher rate of success in having a calm, confident and polite dog on a daily basis, indoor and out. All sessions are done with you as the owner in a one-on-one, face-to-face basis. Courses are designed for humans as much as they are designed for dogs.
Together with your trainer's knowledge in dog psychology, we can understand what fuels your dog's behavior and address the underlying issues, not just the symptoms. We work with your dog to overcome their challenges by rewarding good behavior and reinforcing it with praise or treats.
We give you the knowledge and the tools to give your dog direction and the leadership it deserves. With consistency, structure and plenty of exercise, you will have an amazing companion and fulfilled and happy dog for life.
Meet Barry, the proud owner and best dad to 'Monday,' an adventurous 3-year-old Shar Pei x Aspin mix. Monday is a calm & confident dog that has the ability to help fearful/reactive dogs overcome their challenges during training sessions. She is also a great assistant in leash training.
With her guarding instincts, Monday rightfully is wary of strangers, but as a single family dog, she showers her humans with endless love. This all-terrain pup thrives on adventurous hikes and exploring in shallow rivers.
Originally from The Netherlands, Barry is a certified CPD (UK) dog trainer with two decades of experience under his belt. From basic obedience to advanced training and socialisation, he's worked with a diverse range of breeds using positive reinforcement methods. Now, he offers Agility Training available to suitable dogs of any breed and age.
Barry's passion extends beyond his own pup; he's collaborated with dog rescue centers in Hong Kong and Vietnam, transforming rescue dogs into amazing pets through training with love and positivity.

Training Modules
All initial proposals are customised specifically for you and your pup. Our training services encompass two main types: foundational training, which serves as the cornerstone for most dogs, and enrichments, recommended once a solid foundation and bond with the owner have been established.
Just like any healthy relationship, building a strong bond with your dog requires effort. Under our guidance, you'll discover that training can be an enjoyable and rewarding experience for both you and your four-legged family member. We encourage the primary caretaker and owner to actively participate, and all family members in the household are welcome to join in the process.
The ultimate outcome of successful training is a deep bond and a fulfilling relationship between human family and dog family. After all, it's you who shares your home with your dog, and it's you whom your dog looks to for guidance and direction.
Every dog thrives with our Basic Obedience and Socialisation Courses, designed to meet their foundational needs and elevate them to new levels. We understand that each dog comes with its own starting point, which is why our proposals are custom-tailored to address their individual requirements.
While some dogs may require more sessions than others, our goal remains consistent: to build confidence, instill manners, and shape your beloved companion into a well-behaved family member both indoors and outdoors. With our courses, you can trust that your furry friend will reach their full potential with confidence and ease.
With plenty of practice and sticking to a routine, your dog can develop lifelong confidence, which is key for a happy, fulfilling life. Many relaxed, confident, and well-mannered dogs thrive when they have a "job" or engage in activities alongside their favorite human. Enhancements, such as training sessions or activities, deepen the bond between you and your furry friend as you work together. For most dogs, this is the ultimate source of fulfillment!
Our Agility course is ideal for both dogs and owners who enjoy teamwork, learning, and the thrill of running and jumping together. Mastering agility obstacles with your furry companion not only strengthens your bond but also adds excitement to your training journey.
In addition to completing the course, we offer record-setting challenges that measure your dog's jumping abilities in terms of height and distance. It's a fun and rewarding way to showcase your dog's talents while further enhancing your connection.

"A wonderful moment for Pia: Nutella (female labrador) for 2 years even at a distance Pia would bark, lunge, growl at her and we could never get close EVER.

"So proud of our little snow baby! Last week, he graduated from Basic Obedience and Socialization.
Did you know, during Maki's first few months with us, one of our problems was his reactivity? He would bark out of excitement at everything he sees outside. People, animals, garbage bins, you name it. We couldn't even enjoy eating out cause he'd get so noisy. We also didn't allow him to walk outside. He was only confined in his stroller because we were too worried about how his white coat would get dirty. Another issue with him was that he was terrified of staircases, sidewalk gutters and paths that are not flat.
One of our best decisions was to enroll him in Barry's training program. Maki enjoyed every session! Not only that, you can really see his progress each day. His focus and impulse control has improved so much. And it wasn't only him who learned. Barry also taught me so many things that helped me understand and train Maki better
I'm happy cause now we actually find it enjoyable when we bring Maki out with us. He doesn't bark anymore when we're outside and he's become very confident in going up and down the stairs. We're also lucky cause he's always very eager to learn so teaching him new things is not that difficult anymore.
